This picture stays very close to my heart and it takes me into different story lanes everytime I have a look at it. During my childhood we mostly celebrated getting few things or even a planned purchase on a Dhanteras was cherished. Though with our increasing purchasing power, we get a rather more casual approach to purchasing stuff and relating to things becomes difficult but back in the late 90’s when I was probably 6-ish we cherished getting an item an year. This refrigerator served as a parking spot for my cars and a space for my mother to put other photo frames or docs. A beautiful memory post the purchase where me and my dad posed to celebrate this and we coincidentally would dress up in almost the same attire. Not as tall as the fridge but I would still look upon my father to pose; not as strong as him but I would look upon him to gather strength to face challenges in life and probably not as sweet as him but I still attempt to express how I feel strongly about our bond. I love this relation; I feel it is not defined in the dimensions of responsibilities or expectation but as a journey of celebrating the sweetest moments; cutest poses and warmest hugs.
